AMATHANDA is a family-owned hunting and safari business. Jurie and Renata van Staden together with Pieter-John Venter own the company and are registered in the Limpopo province of South Africa.

Our goal is to offer quality trophy hunting with our knowledgeable professional hunters Jurie and Pieter-John. Together they have more than 25 years of experience in the hunting and tourism industry.

We guide first-time hunters to ensure rifle safety. Ethical hunts are practiced at all times. The worth of an experienced professional hunter and tracker is priceless. We focus on rifle hunting but also have good bow hunting facilities, we cater for both. In our lodges, you will experience true African hospitality with a focus on good food, bush atmosphere, stunning sunsets, game drives, daily laundry services, and special warm hospitality at all times.

Family safari’s are very welcome as we love to be part of creating good memories for hunters and non-hunters.

Our other passion in life is children. At our after-school care, food is provided daily to 80 kids. Our hunting clients are given the opportunity to donate their slaughtered animals for this purpose. This is a true blessing and we try to develop the youth through character building and leadership to create a better South-Africa
